Happy New Year

Happy New Year to each and everyone of you. :-):-)  This is a time when we can take stock of what 2013 has brought into our life and what we want 2014 to look like.  Often times, people will only see the bad things that have happened to them rather than looking at what those things had to offer them in the way of learning.
I'm a believer in "everything happens for a reason".  Each person or situation that enters into our life brings an opportunity for understanding who we are and where we are on our path.  What you put out is what you will get back.  So it is important to look at what is occurring in your life to understand what you are putting out to the world.  If what goes around comes around, then what is going out from you that is now coming back?
Looking at it is a great way to grow spiritually.  I encourage my clients to be able to look at their lives without judgment.  What they are experiencing is neither right nor wrong, it is the result of choices that they have made in the past.  Maybe it is the choice to believe something that someone has said to them about who they are, or the choice to do something that didn't feel right to them or to not do something that did feel right to them.  Everything is about the choices that we make.  We can choose to participate in an event or not to.  And if we choose to participate, then we can choose how we will show up in that event.  The outcome is information for us, nothing more.  If it doesn't work, then it is just information about what doesn't feel good for us.  It isn't failure, it is only feedback.
I invite you to spend some time in seeing what was right about 2013 and then invite more of the same into 2014 as you venture forth into this new year……….
