Busy Times

Wow, lately it has been a whirlwind of learning.  I attended a clearing workshop outside of Calistoga at the end of July conducted by Jean Haner, one of the leading authorities in Chinese face reading.  It was a retreat in a beautiful setting and we spent 4 days clearing each other of disturbing effects of others, clearing the 5 elements of water, wood, fire, earth and metal.  I learned house dousing, finding any influences and clearing them from childhood homes.  We cleared objects and the emotional hooks of others to us and from us to others.  It was amazing to see some of the profound effects that it had on people and I have clearing partners that I continue to clear them and they clear me.  Always wonderful to have my energy cleared.
The work is done using a pendulum, and the group that was at the retreat center for yoga thought we were a cult ready to "drink the kool aid".  I'm sure it can seem a bit whacky to see 50 people swinging a pendulum scattered inside and outside.  The pendulum is just a way to keep centered while doing the clearing work.  It keeps you focused and lets you know when each item has been cleared.  It's amazing work and I use it all the time on anything that comes along.  It can also be used for finding objects. I was a bit skeptical when it told me that the sunglasses I had lost were in my office.  I did a thorough search of the drawers in my desk and credenza, behind them and everywhere I could think.  I didn't really think they were in my office to begin with.  But after I replaced them, about a week later I was going for a ride on my motorcycle and I pulled out my jacket from the closet in my office and there they were in the pocket of my jacket.  Made a believer out of me!!!!!
I then attended a 5 day workshop with the well known medium James Van Praagh down in Laguna Beach.  What an honor to meet such a humble, compassionate and congruent man living in his integrity.  There is no pretense about him, he has a fabulous sense of humor and is a very good teacher.  In this class we learned mediumship.  How to access the spirit world and get information from those that have passed on.  It was pretty amazing to be able to give people information that they understood when I had no idea what I was talking about.  There are so many things out there to be explored and I love being able to take part in them.  I encourage anyone on their spiritual path to pursue whatever calls to them.  I have encountered some "doubters" that try to discourage me and think I'm going off the deep end, but I have to just smile and trust in the universe that I am just where I need to be.
It is about honoring and respecting everyone else as that we are all on our own path and it is not up to us to judge how another person chooses to learn their life lessons.  It is up to us to "allow" them to be who they are.  Accept them for who they are and live in our own integrity.  We don't have to be around negative people, but we also don't have to say negative things about them either, as that just pulls us down to their level and we become what we are criticizing.  In the book The Four Agreements, by Don Miguel Ruiz, the first agreement is "always be impeccable with your word".  This means with others as well as what we say to ourselves.  He says it is the most difficult of the four and when you master it, the rest become easier.  It is indeed a difficult one.  If you stop and hear how many times a day we find fault with ourselves or with others or the world at large, it is amazing how often it occurs.  When we see the beauty of others and the world, it makes it much easier not to say negative things.
My motto.......life.......gotta love it and live it.  Until next time.........
